Prague is well-known for its beer and breweries. Locals prefer to do their beer-drinking in pubs rather than at home because drinking beer is an opportunity to meet with friends. There are many Czech proverbs about beer and pubs, such as "Pivo dělá hezká těla" which translates to "Beer makes beautiful bodies" and my favorite "Bez peněz do hospody nelez" which translates to "don't go to the pub without money. " Beer and pub / bar drinking are deep-rooted in Czech culture, society and history, and we find out why the Czech love the "pivo".

We'll see some of the Prague's best beer pubs. What is Hospoda, Hostinec, Šenk, Krčma and Výčep? Why is Czech beer regarded as the best in the world? Is Czech Republic the home to the original Budweiser? We will talk about all questions during our tour in Prague.

• We taste traditional Czech beer styles of light, half-dark, dark lagers and one of the seasonal beer at the traditional Bohemian pub, we stop at the Old Bohemian alehouse which is famous for its typical Czech atmosphere and its "Plzeň", and we finish our tour in Czech craft beer pub in one of the oldest buildings of Romanesque origins.
